Collaborative Book Discussion of Putting the Humanities PhD to Work by Dr. Katina Rogers
Over the past few months, I’ve had the honor of co-coordinating HASTAC Scholars’ collaborative book discussion on Putting the Humanities PhD to Work by Katina Rogers. This collaborative project began in September with an open call to current HASTAC Scholars seeking interest in reading and reviewing Rogers’ work. Over the following months, HASTAC Scholars engaged with Rogers’ work in several capacities - some selected chapters to review, some interviewed Dr. Rogers, and almost all contributed peer review feedback throughout the process.

COVID-19: Resources and Reflections for Teachers and Learners
This is a crucial moment to begin preparing mentally and logistically for the possibilities that may unfold in higher education in the fall. Given HASTAC's long history in critical digital pedagogy and online engagement, we are using this time to compile and share resources that may help others in any of the possible fall scenarios. We will add to this collection in the days and weeks ahead.
Above all, please be kind with yourselves and with others. We are all experiencing the trauma of a global pandemic. Many of us are also experiencing the differential burdens created by racism, classicism, ableism, sexism and more. We at HASTAC are committed to collectively working to find the best ways to teach responsibly in this present and to craft futures we want to inhabit.

From the Desk of Demos Orphanides
I'm the Drupal Webmaster & Online Community Strategist here at HASTAC and the Digital Media and Learning Competition Winner's hub. This is a Collection of some of my posts that have appeared on HASTAC. Here you can find some of my musing and ramblings, primarily about the things I do for and at work. Mainly I write about: how we interact and engage as a community, the design and architecture of our site, newly added and upcoming features, and my random thoughts on web-related things in general.

Trust Challenge: Building Trust in Connected Learning Environments
What could be more important than trust?
