One of the key tenets of the FemTechNet DOCC has been that it matters not just what you are learning, but who you are learning with. For the first Distribute Online Collaborative Course we had participants at over a dozen universities as well as self-directed learners. While we have had our website/commons page, with each course being unique it has been interesting to see how conversations have happened across so many platforms - both in person and digitally.
Outside of the formal settings, lots of exchanges across the FemTechNet world. I created Storify's to highlight some of the various cross-platform dialogues happening. Some of the platforms used were Facebook, Twitter, Google plus, blogs, Vimeo, Second Life.
Here are the first 2 Storifys that show some of the social media activity during the first 2 months of the DOCC "Dialogues in Feminism and Technology"

I'll share soon the last/third Storify as well as additional analysis.
