It's hard to believe HASTAC's insurgent network of educators, thinkers, tinkerers, researchers, community activists, and innovators of many types is turning 10 years old! In 2002, Cathy Davidson and David Theo Goldberg co-authored "A Manifesto for the Humanities in a Technological Age" and sparked a conversation that is still going strong. (More about HASTAC's history here.)
To mark the occasion, we've created this infographic to convey some of the many accomplishments of the HASTAC community. It was a huge challenge to reflect this large and diverse network in just a few pixels. This only tells the story of HASTAC in the broadest brush strokes. Each of you has a story of how shifting your thinking and that of others has led to new insights and educational impacts, and the best is yet to come.
