A Problem Statement

Too often, groups are associated with wasting time, ineffective communication, politics, and generally "ugh". And there is plenty of history to support this sterotype.

But some groups perform at exceptionally high levels so there must be something one can do. But what?

Are there explicit skills involved? Can they be learned versus just magically be ingrained?

How does this apply  to real world teaching? Does it work among adults? Children? Young adults?

Are their case histories that have proven what the processes are?
