The Game Changer Chicago Design Lab that I run with Melissa Gilliam at the University of Chicago is currently designing a suite of board games that explore economic, environmental, and epidemiological issues rooted in the city of Chicago. This game, Hexacago, uses a grid of hexagons to represent different regions and train lines. The intended audience includes high school youth in the city of Chicago, especially the South Side. We are currently looking for external submissions to be included in the final suite of learning games. Two winners will each receive $1,000! See additional information, including the entry form, on the Game Changer Chicago lab site. We encourage you to submit your best "game plan."
