Broadening the Digital Humanities

We are very pleased to host a twitter feed of the live-microblogging from the NEH "Broadening the Digital Humanities" conference.  Here's a description:

With funding from the NEH program Institutes for Advanced Topics in the Digital Humanities, The University of Californias Humanities Research Institute, USCs Institute for Multimedia Literacy, and the electronic journal Vectors are pleased to announce "Broadening the Digital Humanities: The Vectors-IML/UC-HRI Summer Institute on Multimodal Scholarship."  The institute is being held this summer, from July 19 - August 12, 2010 at USC.

The institute will offer scholars the opportunity to explore the benefits of interactive media for scholarly analysis and authorship, illustrating the possibilities of multimodal media for humanities investigation. Fellows participating in the program will learn both by engaging with a variety of existing projects as well as through the production of their own project in collaboration with the Vectors-IML team.

Thanks, Cathy and Mandy, for setting this up.  The Institute is off to a great start.
