Hey folks! I'm a former HASTAC Scholar, and SILS Alumni. My first book is coming out in August-- just finished indexing it today-- and I wanted to let everyone know about it. Comic Book Collections and Programming: A Practical Guide for Librarians is part of the Practical Guide for Librarians series. In it I talk about comics in libraries, purchasing and weeding comics, cataloging comics, and (most importantly) using your comic collections to connect with your community. It's mostly for public and school librarians, but obviously all are welcome! Here's a link; I'm happy to answer specific questions.
