Off the Desktop: Technology-Supported Human-World Interaction

Most people who interact with computers know about the field of HCI, but with ubiquitous Wi-Fi and mobile network internet access, the iPhone, and the growing "Internet of Things", it is important to consider how technology supports human-world interaction off the desktop and beyond the mobile phone.
