My HASTAC blog is back from its summer hiatus!
I've returned in time to blog a bit about the second year of the HASTAC/MacArthur Foundation Digital Media and Learning Competition. You may have read about the new categories this time around on other HASTAC blogs or directly on the Competition's website. I'm excited by these new directions, but the intent of this entry is to point out another new feature. The DML Competition is now on Twitter, and you can follow us there: http://twitter.com/dmlComp
For Twitter newbies, you can read more about it on their blog, or take a look at a great vlog from HASTAC scholar Julie Levin Russo about Twitter here. I like to think of it as a place to leave away messages on instant messenger services, except without the instant messenger service. :) If that sounds a little bit like mashed potatoes without the potatoes, take a look at our feed to get a better idea of the possibilities that Twitter brings.
