Lynch postcards of post-Civil War America (warning: graphic images)

This semester I have been assigned as a Teaching Assistant for an undergraduate survey course on modern American history, and since this is not my field of expertise, as you can imagine I have been learning a TON of new things about our America’s history that I never knew  before. So over the next few months, don’t be surprised to see posts on Antiquorum et Praesentis that feature modern American historical events.
