Critical Code Studies workshop - upcoming

Note: the deadline for this working group is over, but I wanted to make sure the information and contact info was posted here, since our Critical Code Studies forum (and its companion Code Critiques forum) fostered such a great conversation.

Jan 30-Feb 20, 2012
This working group aims to develop readings and methodologies of Critical Code Studies, which examines the extra-functional significance of computer source code.
This online working group is the follow-up to the highly successful CCSWG (2010), whose threads were published in electronic book review and which led to at least one scholarly book, presentations, papers, and a community of researchers. Read more about the first CCSWG here. The CCSWG is sponsored by the Humanities and Critical Code Studies Lab at USC.
CCSWG12 will feature concentrated discussion threads and individual code critiques.
Preliminary Featured Presenters include: (see website for updated list)
David M. Berry
micha cardenas
Craig Dietrich
Jeremy Douglass
Elizabeth Losh
Stephen Ramsay
