This working group aims to develop readings and methodologies of Critical Code Studies, which examines the extra-functional significance of computer source code.
This online working group is the follow-up to the highly successful CCSWG (2010), whose threads were published in electronic book review and which led to at least one scholarly book, presentations, papers, and a community of researchers. Read more about the
first CCSWG here. The CCSWG is sponsored by the
Humanities and Critical Code Studies Lab at USC.
CCSWG12 will feature concentrated discussion threads and individual code critiques.
