Here's a brief update on the group of folks interested in discussing the issues surrounding queerness & digital media and learning. See previous blog explaining where the idea started, and some of the initial ideas discussed.
After that last blog, we had a lot of interest from others who wanted to join the group. Here's how you can join the conversation!
We now have an email listserv: firstname.lastname@example.org. To join, you can do either of the following:
1) Visit the website and subscribe there: https://lists.duke.edu/sympa/info/queerDML
2) Email email@example.com and in the body or subject line, write:
If you have any problems, you can leave a comment here, or email me through my address on this site. Thanks!
And FYI: this group is not solely about the DML conference in particular, and it really reaches wider than that event alone. Jenna spontaneously the first meeting at that event, but we have imagined it as a place to think through all facets of digital media and learning, from all the angles, and in other disciplinary conferences, institutional locations, and sharing resources and ideas amongst ourselves. So yes -- you are most welcome to join even if you were not there!
