Hi! I'm an assistant professor of technical and professional communication at East Carolina University. (I've just completed my first year.) My research interests center on issues of gender and feminism in technical communication, most often as they manifest in healthcare policy and risk communication.
I'm workshopping the methodology chapter of my dissertation (completed June 2013). In this chapter, I explain a theoretical approach called apparent feminism. I'm hoping for feedback on how to help this chapter stand alone (without the case studies that provide context for it in a later chapter) so that I can send it out as an article.
I'm very excited about this group, and I'm happy to correspond with anyone with parallel or intersecting research agenda. My twitter handle is @erinafrost and my email is firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also fine me at erinafrost.com.
