I am a doctoral candidate at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst studying media, culture and theory. My varied interests include media theory, the history of technology, the communication of science, and digital humanities. I am completing a multidisciplinary dissertation on intersections of media and memory.
Always open to opportunities for productive and prudent uses of technology in the classroom, I have taught a number of university courses and labs on media history, theory, and production. I have also helped other teachers and researchers as an educational technology consultant and as a researcher for a data analytics company.
Currently living in rural Vermont, I am especially interested in innovative projects on campuses across New England.
