Greetings Scholars--Welcome back. I'm seeking interested parties for a collaborative book review of: Artistic Citizenship: Artistry, Social Responsibility and Ethical Praxis (Eds: David J. Elliott, Marissa Silverman and Wayne D. Bowman. Check out the book here:
The book is organized into seven (7) parts of roughly 4 chapters each, each devoted to an artistic discipline: Dance/Movement; Media/Technology; Music; Poetry/Storytelling; Theater; and Visual Arts. The idea is to have every participant read PART I: Foundational Considerations (six chapters), weigh in, and then focus on the chapter closest to your discipline. I will edit all reviews and produce final copy. Note: One need not be a practitioner of the discipline to review a chapter, but should maintain a sincere interest in, or have a degree of familiarity with the discipline. PART I review: up to 500 words. Chapter Reviews: 500-1000 words. Please contact me here or @Ontic 14 to convey interest. Looking fwd to hearing from those with collaborative interest, as well as hearing any ideas you may have to offer regarding the structure and protocol of this collaborative effort.
