Theremin, Video, Cash Bar: Nasher Museum, June 4th

Remember the brilliant Thereminist at HASTAC 1?  He's back.  Steve Burnett will be performing again as part of a showing of Christian Marclay's "Video Quartet."  Here are the details: 

 

Thursday, June 4
5:30 PM Cash bar
6 PM Live music with Steve Burnett, who performs improvisational
ambient/industrial music with a theremin. A film clip of a theremin
is included in the work on view, "Video Quartet."

Doors open and cash bar at 5:30pm.  Steve talks about the theremin and
Christian Marclay's exhibit at 6pm, and plays theremin for the background
of the evening from 6:30-7:30pm.
