I’m Anne Cong-Huyen, my pronouns are she/her/hers, and I am the Digital Scholar and Coordinator of the Digital Liberal Arts Program at Whittier College, a small liberal arts college and Title V Hispanic Serving Institution in East Los Angeles. I’m a co-founder and collective member of #transformDH, a former HASTAC Scholar and now Steering Committee member, and I’m co-chair of the FemTechNet Ethnic Studies committee.
I am in an alt-ac position on my campus where I support digital research and pedagogy, and I teach courses on race, gender, and technology. I’m only two years out of my PhD program at UCSB, where I worked on global literature & media about migration in global cities. I’m hoping to get some assistance in the revision of an article that I had co-written and submitted to ADA, about teaching ethnic studies, the feminist classroom, and collaborative digital project based learning. Unfortunately I didn't have time to revise the article during the academic year, so I’m hoping to have time to vet it with feminist scholar/teacher friends and get some honest feedback and suggestions for revision.
Looking forward to working with you all!
