You know you are on the right track with a paper you are working on when a book comes out with not one but two chapters on the topic. My proposal is based on the study of the index in augmented reality as a remediation of cinema. This book just came out Nov 2, 2012 and has two chapters on the index, location, and augmentation. Too bad the paper is due on Tuesday, I have no way to get my hands on this book before then.
[Edit: think I posted the wrong article, the Offenhuber article seems to mention Peirce and indexicality.]
