Learning outcomes & community statement

Mindful Research: A Workshop for Feminist Scholars is just over a week away. We will start at 1pm eastern on Sunday, June 7, 2015.  

Wondering what this workshop will cover? Here are the three learning outcomes for the workshop:

  1. Learn what mindfulness and a mindfulness practice are.
  2. Recognize and begin to define how mindfulness is a feminist self-care practice.
  3. Develop concrete ways to integrate mindfulness practice into your life and scholarship.
During the hour in which the workshop takes place, we will be entering into a community with each other. There will be opportunities throughout the workshop to engage with one another and share your thoughts. I ask that we cultivate a respectful, supportive atmosphere.  Let us take care of ourselves and each other during this hour.
