Born Digital

I'm reading Born Digital by John Palfrey and Urs Gasser and am fascinated by the way they think about major issues such as privacy, safety, customization, intellectual property, and learning from the perspective of those born after 1980 for whom there is no "pre-Internet" and "post-Internet" conversion moment. I also love danah boyd's review of the book on apophenia and the disclaimer for academics: see http://www.zephoria.org/thoughts/archives/2008/08/26/born_digital_by.html for the full review
