Rosalind Franklin & Wyllie O Hagan, DNA Discoveries in Science and Art
Teachers share with your students about women in science through art and digital media. I remember reading The Double Helix years ago and Rosalind Franklin is barely mentioned. Ever since, I've wondered why. Furthermore, to this day, Rosalind Franklin's contributions are not mentioned in school science textbooks. It is our job as educators to provide an accurate respresentation of historical scientific discoveries. Digital media and the arts can help.
