Changing the Face of News

I am in the process of writing a paper and wanted to gather some information, direction, and source material. The paper will discuss the social and psychological impact of real time ‘news’ on the internet. It will connect the human need for immediacy with the real world. In addition, this paper will show how the remediation of the ‘news’ directly effects U.S. culture and how it is skewing what we place value in. Finally, the last section of this essay will touch on the new technologies and ideas that will remediate the news as it evolves in the future. Please provide some comments and sources that you feel may help me in my endaveour. Thank you.
