Mapa Corpo Performance from the SECT conference on YouTube

At the Seminar on Critical Theory, "technoSpheres: futures of Thinking," we were able to participate in an astonishing performance by Guillermo Gomez-Pena, with a gorgeous and provocative and sometimes scary videoscape by Rene Garcia (who will be producing a videoscape, Remix2, at the upcoming HASTAC international conference). It is impossible to "see" that event in the same way on YouTube. In person, it was total immersion, a powerful and sometimes overpowering experience, exquisite and painful and always thought-provoking.
