From Saturday March 29 to Friday April 4, Classroom 2.0 is hosting a series of "live" web conversations, on topics including on teaching content with current events, Web 2.0 for Beginners, how to set up your own Ning network, and open source. Site curator Steve Hagadorn invites HASTAC 'ers to come join the conversation. Here's the invitation from Steve and the schedule:

Happy Friday, Classroom 2.0 members!

This coming week we have some fun "live" web conversations taking place. Come see the full schedule and *links* at http://www.classroom20wiki.com/LIVE+Conversations. (Special thanks to Elluminate for allowing us to host these sessions.)

Tomorrow, Saturday (March 29) at 8am Pacific / 11am Eastern / 3pm GMT we'll do our now-regular "Web 2.0 Week in Review" show. Come join us to talk about fun things that have happened during this week, and what gems blogosphere, twittersphere, and Classroom 2.0 held this week.

Tuesday (April 1) at 4pm Pacific / 7pm Eastern / 11pm GMT Andy Pass will lead a discussion on "Teaching Across the Content Areas with Current Events."

Wednesday (April 2) at 5pm Pacific / 8pm Eastern / 12am GMT we're going to have a "Web 2.0 for Beginners" call. Come to either learn or to help teach! All are welcome!

Thursday (April 3) at 4pm Pacific / 7pm Eastern / 11pm GMT I'll be leading a visual tutorial on how to start your own Ning network. We'll have you up and running in less than an hour. :)

Friday (April 4) at 2pm Pacific / 5pm Eastern / 9pm GMT is our first "Open Source Friday." We'll be talking about the Open Source in education news of the week, and announcing details on the fall K12 Open Minds conference in Indiana.

Hope you will find something of interest to you... but if you don't, email me or go to the wiki to schedule your own session!

Have a great weekend!
