The Princeton Laptop Orchestra is pleased to announce that we have filled the position of Postdoctoral researcher/composer/teacher for our Mobile Music Laboratory project.

Scott Smallwood, a freshly minted Princeton PhD in Music Composition (as of last month), will serve as our MacArthur HASTAC-funded postDoc for this academic year. He's already hard at work designing and building new hardware, writing new software and tools, and readying our facilities for what promises to be an extremely busy and productive year ahead.

Scott is an accomplished programmer, composer and performer, hardware designer/builder, installation artist, studio engineer, studio technical director, and many more things as you can easily see from a browse around his homepage:www.music.princeton.edu/~skot

Skot (another, more economical way to spell his name) was also one of the founders of PLOrk way back in 2005, so we couldn't be more delighted to have him around for this important year of new art-making.
