Second Life + Social Media on Slideshare

Grownups on Facebook?? Virtual Property in Second Life? I've been presenting on the importance of understanding and using social media in teaching and for professional networking--recently at NSF and at the Biennial Conference on Chemical Education. General astonishment (and some consternation) at what they didn't know has been the general reaction from colleagues. Most had never heard of Slideshare, one of my staples. And none of them have both a home and a business address in the virtual world like I do. I've posted a few photos of my Second Life for your enjoyment.
